Window Therapy is a window cleaning company serving Lynchburg and the surrounding area in Central Virginia. This page explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and who else sees it.
The short version: we collect what we need to give you a quote and call you back. We don't sell your information to anyone, and we don't send marketing email you didn't ask for.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form, we collect what you type into it:
- Your name and phone number
- Your email address and home address, if you provide them
- Job details you choose to share — pane count, number of storeys, whether you want interior and exterior, screens and tracks, hard-water removal, and any message you write
We also collect limited technical information automatically:
- Which page you landed on, and the website or ad that referred you
- Aggregate page-view counts, with no cookie and no individual profile attached
- Advertising identifiers set by Meta, described below
How we use it
- To prepare your quote and call you back, normally within the hour during business hours
- To schedule and carry out the work if you decide to hire us
- To understand which advertising actually brings us customers, so we spend less on advertising that doesn't
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below, who process it on our behalf.
Advertising and measurement
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. This site uses the Meta Pixel, and our server also sends Meta a matching record of quote requests through their Conversions API. When a quote request is sent this way, your phone number and email address are converted into an irreversible cryptographic hash before transmission — Meta receives the hash, not the values themselves, and uses it only to tell whether the person who submitted the form is the same person who saw an ad.
You can control how Meta uses your activity for advertising in your Meta account settings. Browser-level tracking protection and ad blockers also prevent the Pixel from loading.

Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics. The Meta Pixel may set its own cookies
(_fbp and _fbc) to connect an ad click to a quote request. These are
set by Meta, not by us, and blocking third-party cookies prevents them.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are retained while we may still reasonably do business with you, and business records relating to completed work are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, except where we're legally required to keep a record of work performed and paid for.
Your choices
Write or call and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it. There is no form to fill in and no fee — just ask.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging services for a home. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top of this page.
